Your favourite cozy spice is a healthy one, too! Cinnamon is high in antioxidants, which may help protect against disease, inflammation and ageing. What’s more, it may improve gut health, dental hygiene, reduce cholesterol levels and lower blood pressure.
This doesn’t mean you should add a ton of cinnamon to everything you eat says WebMD, but 2-4 grams per day is probably a good place to start.
One teaspoon (3g) of cinnamon (ground) provides:

0.1g protein
2g carbohydrate
1.6g fibre
Put cinnamon in whatever you fancy including oatmeal, coffee or on your toast in the morning.
